The 1st XV play in London South West 2 – a competitive league, formed of club based in London, Surrey and Hampshire.

Last season, we achieved promotion from London South West 3 to the highest level the club has ever played at, all the while maintaining an unbeaten home record.  Yet, the club has loftier ambitions and we are looking forward to the challenge that London 2 presents, as we seek to carry our momentum into the new season.

The inclusive ethos of the club resonates through the 1st XV – we enjoy each other’s company off the field and play for each other on it.  We pride ourselves on our doggedness and will to win, whilst also looking to play an attractive brand of rugby and improve at every opportunity.  
 

This season is set to be an exciting one - we have set ourselves ambitious targets in both league and cup, and I fully believe we are readily equipped to achieve these.

However, we are always on the look out for new players of all abilities and experience and we would certainly welcome you down to join us.

T The Super 2's play their rugby in the Surrey Championship, the top level of the reserve leagues against some very competitve teams.

After beating over Club rivals Camberley 14-12 in the play-off finals, and finishing 2nd in the overall league for the 2018/19 season, the 2's are riding a real wave of momentum into the 2018/19 campaign. 

Filled with talented players constantly pushing for 1XV selection, we're always looking to develop players along the way. It's a team that's fundementally built on the core values of rugby - playing for one another & having a few beers after the game. 

There's an incredible spirit in the squad where everyone is welcome and encouraged to be the best they can be.

T he Ironsides 3rd XV is one of the many successful teams in the club finishing 2nd in the league last year reaching the league playoffs yet again and also went deep in the Cup competitions. It is a chance for young players to integrate into men's rugby at a very competitive level and also for seniors to continue their development to achieve new heights. We provide great training sessions with dedicated coaches using competitive sessions to make sure we're ready to go on a Saturday. T The 4th team is a great bunch of lads, playing at a standard higher than most 4XV's! We won the league in 2016, and got to the Surrey Jug final in the 2017/18 season.

We play in the Surrey Conference South, and are a good mix of ages and experience. If you're new to the game, are a grizzled old warhorse with broken knees, or are taking the game back up after a long absence, don't hesitate to come down and say hi!
 

We're looking to push into the play-offs and hopefully get some silverware this season - and play a bit of good rugby too!

With deeper foundations this club can achieve greater heights.This message, clearly resonates through the entire club, with a massive showing of five regular senior men’s teams playing each week. All Ironsides players, compete for a starting XV spot for every team. There are no barriers, just self determination, hardwork and sacrifice! 

The 5XV are playing in Surrey Combination 2 for the 2018/19 season, a very respectable league, playing alongside opposition 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams.
 
Our Aim this season: Win the league and retain the cup! 

 

Playing for Ironsides Rugby is being part of a brotherhood. We play fun rugby, but with a determination and focus to win. Winning is more fun.

The Ironsides Vets place an emphasis on social rugby with old school values. Affectionately known as the "The Mothers", any player over 35 qualifies and is very welcome. We have 8-10 fixtures scheduled for 2018/19, playing in the Surrey 2 Division. Made up of former (and some delusional present) Senior players, Junior Dads and Coaches, the Vets welcomes anyone from the Ironsides family whether you want to play regularly, occasionally or just drink and talk rugby.
