Ironsides News

It was another superb performance in an England shirt for Kyle Sinckler on Saturday morning as England beat Australia 40-16 to clinch a World Cup semi-final place.
England were strategically and physically superior to Australia over 80 minutes, and Ironsides’ legendary alumni was at the heart of things: ferocious in defence, calmly dominant in the scrum and - in Eddie Jones words - like a runaway rhino in attack.
The icing on the cake was Kyle running a wonderful attacking line onto an Owen Farrell pass in midfield to break the Wallaby line and score the try that turned the game at 17-16.
Everyone at the club is massively proud of Kyle and cheering him on at every step – so it was great to hear Battersea Ironsides get a mention in the ITV commentary that followed. Bring on the All Blacks!

Check out Paul Hayward's write up on Kyle's performance and post-match interview in The Daily Telegraph here (subscription needed) which also give a shout to Battersea Ironsides.

Mike Cleary also writing in The Daily Telegraph here, said of Kyle: "Sinckler epitomises this team: a character, full of heart with a splendid relish for the game. No wonder he got a standing ovation from the England fans packed into the Oita Stadium.

There's another great write up on Kyle's performance from Hugh Godwin in iNews here where he describes the game as Kyle's most complete performance in an England jersey.

And BBC Sport also recognised Kyle's contribution here
